Lawyer fees are governed by various regulations: the Federal Act on the Free Movement of Lawyers (LLCA), the Geneva Act on the Legal Profession (LPAv), the Swiss Code of Professional Conduct (FSA), and the customs of the Geneva Bar Association.
Fees are determined based on the time dedicated to the mandate, the complexity and significance of the matter, the interests at stake, the urgency, the result obtained, the client’s situation, and the lawyer’s experience (art. 34 LPAv).
Our firm’s hourly rate ranges from CHF 250 to CHF 600 (excl. VAT), depending on these factors and the professionals involved. Flat fees or success-based arrangements may also be agreed upon. Expenses are billed separately on an actual cost basis.
